A.Introduction

Piezoelectric ceramic is a polycrystal with piezoelectric effect. It is named such because of its production technique is similar to the ones of ceramic. 

In some anisotropy crystal, after deform under mechanical pressure, electric particles relatively displace and produce charges on the surface of the crystal---we call this phenomenon piezoelectric effect.
